What Are Mousses?
Mousses or "bib mousses"are foam inserts that replace the need for traditional inner tubes in off-road motorcycle tyres. They’re made from a dense foam compound that simulates the feel of a perfectly inflated tyre but without the risk of a puncture. That means no flats, no pinch punctures, and consistent tyre feel throughout your ride.

Why Do You Need a Mousse Lube?
Mousses don’t just sit inside the tyre quietly. As the wheel spins and flexes during riding, the mousse moves against the inner tyre wall. This creates friction and, over time, generates heat. Left unmanaged, that friction can cause:
- Foam degradation
- Loss of rebound or "bounce"
- Reduced lifespan
- Harder fitting and potential tearing during installation
Mousse lube solves all of this. By applying a generous layer of lubricant to the mousse and inside the tyre wall before installation, you reduce friction dramatically, prevent heat build-up, and ensure a smoother ride. Plus, fitting the mousse becomes far easier.

1. Ensure the mousse and tire are clean and dry before installation.
2. Apply Mousse Lube generously over the entire mousse surface.
3. Insert the lubricated mousse into the tire, spreading evenly.
