Why youth motocross is so important…
The youth motocross scene in the UK has been under scrutiny for a few years now. Organisers, teams, riders, and businesses are questioned whether they are doing enough to help grow the sport, and to develop the youth riders through their journey into adult classes. We believe that together as a collective, everyone can play their part in developing our next generation of world class riders.
As the leading motocross cleaning brand in the UK, our aim is to educate everyone on the effects of using aggressive cleaners and what damage they can cause to your bike. We also show riders how to care for their equipment and how cleaning is an essential part of the sport. But that’s not all, our sponsorship programme gives a first insight for many riders on what it takes to become a sponsored rider. They must promote the brand, learn about incentives through our content of the month competition and start to get a sense of what is required to become part of a team.
Youth motocross is a key element to the future of our sport, and we will continue to support it for the foreseeable future. There is always an opportunity for businesses to go above and beyond and at this year’s Apico 2-Stroke Festival, we have decided to do just that!
Apico 2 Stoke Festival feat Red Bull Pro Stroke National
The Apico 2-Stroke Festival Featuring Red Bull Pro Stroke National is back. The two-day 2022 event held on August 20/21, at the popular Sellindge Mx track in Kent will once again feature lots of racing for two-stroke riders of all ages, abilities, and bikes – including full ACU British 2-stroke championship titles up for grabs in the 125, Open and Evo/ Super Evo classes. This is the very essence of the racing at the Apico 2-Stroke Festival, with top riders alongside clubmen, amateurs, and youths for two days of action. The Red Bull Pro Stroke National will also provide classes for Pro/Expert riders plus Clubman MX1 and MX2 riders on their choice of 2-stroke or 4-stroke machines.
Our trade stand will be attending the whole weekend also offering free demonstrations of Rust Remover on any 2-stroke exhaust pipe! If you have a rusty pipe, bring it to our stand and prepare to be amazed!
Youth motocross prizes from Motoverde
For 2022 we are not only offering the podium prizes for the Apico 2-Stroke Festival feat Red Bull Pro Stroke National, but we are also offering 2 youth riders a product package worth over £330 each, with a secured position on a Motoverde Athlete package for the 2023 season. The product package alone consists of:
